Through years of research and hospital experience we have developed this program to provide your facility with a simple, common sense approach to hospital decontamination. For too long hospitals have relied on complicated, time consuming methods that often times do more harm than good. Our main purpose in teaching this course is to debunk common myths regarding decontamination and enable you train, in-house, your team of first receivers.

Hospital Emergency Response Team Instructor (HERT) (Train-The-Trainer)
The HERT program is 45 hours spread over a five day period. It includes intensive training both in-class and hands-on as well as one-on-one instructor assistance. After the course, students will leave with all the necessary tools to teach their hospital's response team to respond to a variety of potential hazards; Over 20 programs are included. Included with the course are hard and electronic copies of all the materials covered. The individual tuition also includes five nights lodging at the Mission Inn Resort with continental breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

Active Shooter and Workplace Violence Training (3 Day)
This course is important for any type of employee. You will receive training on methods of identifying violence in the workplace and receive an introduction into the dynamics of workplace violence that lead up to an active shooting event. This day will also address methods of preparing and preventing violence in the workplace, and how employees and employers must address this important issue. Day 2 will build upon Day 1 and examine the active shooter in more detail. You will receive instruction on recognizing warning signs and reaction to an active shooter incident. Day 3 is specifically designed for those people who are working in a position of protection, such as security officers and will include avenues the security officer may take in situations involving a potential active shooter event, including pre-incident safeguards, courses of action to follow during an active shooter incident and interacting with emergency services (Police, EMS, Fire) during this traumatic time.

The key individual on any firing range is the range master. The range master has a responsibility to ensure everything on the firing range goes smoothly and efficiently. Any range master must be able to demonstrate proper handling skills with any of their department’s firearms, including but not limited to: Semi-Auto Handguns, Revolvers, Shotguns, and Rifles. In this 5 day course the student will be trained in the responsibilities of a range master based on a State of Florida curriculum. Students will learn from hands on experience to operate and control a firearms class both on the range and in the classroom.
